The Pavilion at Womillow is located on the old Womillow Farm (one of McMinn Counties oldest properties). The name Womillow is a reverse order construct based on the first three families to work the McMinn County land - Owens, Miller, Womac. The original house was raised in 1837 from cut timbers and fired bricks harvested from the property.
The intervening years brought several expansions along with indoor plumbing and electricity (both of which are appreciated today). In addition to the pre-Civil War house there are several out-buildings remaining on the property.
